Head Trainer Cathie Fergus
Cathie is the resident head trainer of the Four Rivers Sport Horse Center, LLC. She has a degree in Equine Studies from Middle Tennessee State University and over 25 years professional experience in dressage and event training and competition.

Cathie is a United States Dressage Federation medallist. She currently is competing at the Prix St. George level with her beloved thoroughbred, "Farley".She won the 2004 Presidents Cup from the Kentucky Dressage association on Ace's Wild, FTF, a Haflinger trained by Cathie.
She has been honored with numerous awareds from both region 2 and 4 in the USDF.

Cathie is also an accomplished artist and has completed many commissioned pieces. Her artwork has been featured at several galleries.
Cathie has a gifted connection with animals and a very effective communicator with her students.



Lessons
Our lessons are focused on the total horse and rider. Emphasis on learning a well balanced seat and working in harmony with your horse is our goal. The lesson starts from the time you get your mount from the stall, to grooming, tacking, riding, and putting him back up.

Lessons are available from our head trainer, assistant trainer, assistant instructor, visiting clinicians. Lessons, clinics, and training is also available from

Horse rental, partial leasing, and full leasing are available.



Four Rivers Sports Horse Center is also happy to announce our association with Jill O'Donoghue Owner/Trainer of LeCheval de Boskydell Farm is Carbondale, Illinois, home of the Donnabeck Horse Trails. Jill is available for private and semi private lessons.
